Anybody Cruising over the US 4th of July Holiday?

Wondering if some of the Alaska ports have 4th of July celebrations with fireworks and if they are visible from the ship?

I think you should book a cruise and go find out. HappyIt would give you a great break from your heat too.

No, because we are having family down to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary on the first of July.  My daughter will be traveling from London with her family and my nephews are coming from NJ.  For those who are cruising over the 4th, have fun.

Congrats on 50 years!

Happy golden anniversary!

In all honesty, only 13 states should be celebrating the 4th of July.  The rest were bought over time.

Family from London coming over, during the 4th of July ?   That must sting.

For Americans maybe Dec 5, 1933 should be the bigger holiday?

End of prohibition in the US.

The British weren't all that bad were they?  Making alcohol illegal led to having several mob families that still exist to this day even if their influence isn't as strong.

How about a Dec 5 cruise to celebrate the end of prohibition?  Oh wait, Carnival Cruises does that each time one of their ships goes out.
