We are traveling with my mom and Aunt to Alaska on the 29th. My Aunt (upper 60's) injured her foot over the weekend and is now in a walking boot. Any advise or tricks learned while traveling injured? We are working on a wheelchair - just in case.

I cannot express how important compression socks are for traveling if you have a lower leg injury. The way extremities swell on planes becomes much worse if that extremity is recently injured. Compression socks are the best way to combat that. Do yourself a favor and get at least one pair for your trip. I am a big fan of Pro Compression socks.
Rent a mobility scooter to get around ship and shore excursions.
