Any advice when you do a back to back cruise? Is it as easy as it sounds?

Doing 3 back to back cruises to Caribbean in November...Sounds like I keep the same cabin and do not need to disembark.. Any experience?

I have not been on a B2B, and am curious myself. Only way to get the same way is if when you booked you were able to get the same room... I know (from my 2nd job at the cruise port) you still do need to disembark, because they need to clear the ship and you need to check in again. If you are changing cabins, the steward and/or porters will tag your bag the night before and take them to your new room.

I'll be interested to know from the experts with information.

I've never done one either, but I would think that you would need to disembark to get the new id card for the next cruise.

I was told by Princess that I did not need to disembark - just get a new cruise card at the front desk.  When I booked the B2B, they automatically put me in the same room.

Been there done that.

ok. First--yes you keep the same cabin. Unless other wise arranged.

Second, Internet packages are per each cruise. Not the whole thing.

Spa package are the same. as internet.

Check about your booze and dinner package see if they apply.

Depending on the line you may have to pay up and open new account.

No, You don't have to pack up and get off. Unless you deserve it.

Thanks that sounds like what I was told but wanted to hear from someone who had actually done it.  They said I can clear my bill the night before and rekey and start over the next day.  I would see no point in disembarking .. unless I deserve it which I try very hard not to "get the boot" ...

I have heard that some lines will have you go to one of the dining rooms for a breakfast while they clear the ship and get ready for the next group.

Resist the urge to pack for two weeks.  Do laundry.

This is how we have done it in the past. I have heard this is no longer done, that everyone must get off.  I could be wrong though.

So I called Princess and was told that B2Bers will go to a special area for breakfast, be escorted off the ship and right back on through customs.  Sounds easy enough ...

Good that they still do that. Although we didn't have to get off and get back on, but times have changed.  Its a nice quiet breakfast, unless some lout comes on and threatens the maitre d .       Story for another time
