Alcohol Import Limits

Does anybody know offhand what the alcohol import limits are out of Florida for a non-resident? I would like to restock my home rum-bar next month -- cruising out of Canaveral to the Eastern Caribbean.

I think it is 2 750 ml bottles per person that are duty free and after that U.S. Customs can charge you.  I do know a friend brought back a case or wine from Mexico on a cruise and he was not charged by customs even though they could have.

I would double check with a call to the cruise line or TA,   Things change.

Thank you very much. Fla seems a lot better than Tx in this regard -- they tax the first bottle on Angry

But they have to be packed in your luggage now. So buy the bottle bubble bags

Something I was totally unaware of -- Thanks!

Yup.

No more carrying those bottle boxes on board.
