Alaska cruise tour in a wheelchair..

Not sure if anyone can help me here. I have a client interested in doing an Alaska cruise tour with Princess. She would be traveling with her husband and she is in a wheel chair. Does anyone know how easy it is to get on the motor coach or train on the land portion?

Has anyone had experience with this that they could share?

It looks like Princess has some accessible shore excursions, but I am not sure how many of those are on the cruisetours. Here is the number for the Princess Cruises accessibility office: 661-284-4521

I hope that helps!

Thanks!

Orca Enterprises in Juneau has the only ADA compliant whale watching boat in town (for now.) Be sure to call soon and book early. Also, be sure to let them know what sort of wheelchairs are being used and how many... I've seen a few folks disappointed when their electric power-scooters couldn't be loaded on the shuttle bus...

Happy Alaska Travels! hope i have offered some help
