Age limits on cruise ships

Browsing the WWW for cruise related stuff and came across the subject of age limits. I came across this page about age limits for unaccompanied traveling. I thought it was interesting that most lines require under 21 to be accompanied by someone older. Yet "Ultra-Luxury" line except SilverSeas and Windstar say it's okay for 18-20 yo to travel alone. (Cunard and Disney say 18 and over is fine as well). I'd think it be the other way around.

I thought it might lead to an interesting discussion.

Interesting observation. On one hand I appreciate that cruising is easier to do now, but sometimes I find rude individuals on ships that I wish had stayed home. Those who think guidelines or rules don’t apply, specifically. But I started this passion at an older age than many, it’s a good thing wasn’t affordable (for us) when we were in our 20’s!Wink

Well....THATS an interesting observation...so for us (boomers and such), the $$ and the time AND the maturity all came together in a perfect kind of storm...so we see this rather expensive addiction thru different eyes...

AUNTIE>>>My reply re your missing post is also missing. I see the post count in this thread rises, but the posts aren't appearing.
