Sad thing to happen.

News traveled fast becsuse people were talking about it as we were leaving Splendor this morning.

Perhaps she hoisted herself up on the railing to look way over and lost her balance, or maybe was sitting on the railing and fell back? So sad.

Nervous

Welcome back ctav.  When I read about it before my nap she was alive in critical condition.  Sorry to hear she’d passed.

Sad

Very sad news.  Prayers for her and her family. May she Rest in Peace.

Some idiots had posted very graphic photos that have since been taken down .... who snaps a picture of an injured / dead child and posts it on the internet ... seriously I can't get the image out of my mind ...so so sad ...

Sad!  I don't know what happened, but I'm sure she didn't just "fall" over the railing: 1) an 8yo is too short to fall over that 2) the ship was docked so there was no movement 3) where were the parent(s)? I am so very sorry for the family at their loss, but this sounds "fishy".  I am happy they took down those picture, however I hope the investigating personnel got some of them for the work they must do now.

Crying

There's also a video taken from above as they put up a partition to block off people's view on the same level. I didn't watch the video but from the thumbnail it looks like they're a level of 2 above and filming the girl lying getting medical attention

This is very sad. DV unfortunately there are some very sick people in this world of ours.
