The choice is all yours, depending on what you want to see Nd do. The Splendor cruise out of Long Beach will give you an overnight in PV and lots of sea days.

We choose according to the dates for each, ports we most want to visit, the departure port and the price.

I normally cant sail til from Dec 22nd til Dec 29th so its normally during Christmas time

We try to get away every March. December is out for us do to family, and neither hubby nor I can vacation in January. Feb is supposed to be off limits for me too, but the weather is often poor around here and flights get cancelled, so we may as well wait till March.

well I live in North Dakota and that happens here as flights canceled but I got child still in school and summer is my busy time of the year for work and that time they get off from school for Christmas time is good time to go

I really enjoyed that 8 day Sunshine itinerary.

The 7 day Breeze is also pretty good if you like the Western route.

I've never cruised out of LA, and don't fully enjoy Jamaica and Grand Cayman, but will still go there to get a cruise fix.Happy

I would pick the 8 day Sunshine cruise. It has good ports and I happen to like Cape Canaveral, small port and no problems when I left from it. Take an extra day or two and visit the Kennedy Space center. I enjoyed all of those ports that this cruise will hit.

The West cost of Mexico is not the safest ports to visit anymore Sad I used to do that cruise often as I live in Los Angeles, but I do not go down that coast much anymore.

From experience, I would skip the Splendor. The Epic is huge, and gets a lot of poor reviews. So, of the two remaining, flip a coin. Though the 8 day looks more attractive.

Being as I am not familiar with all of those ships I would not be able to compare those but based on stops I would have to say 8 day in sunshine departs Port Canaveral has the nicest set of port calls
