14 Day Disney cruise

Hi everyone,

We are looking at the 14 day Disney Wonder New Orleans to San Diego. We have a son who will be 7.5 at the time of this sailing. He will have been on on 3 -7 night cruises, and 2 shorter ones by the time of this sailing. Just curious if anyone has taken this long of a cruise with a kid this age. I am thinking, on Disney he would probably be ok. He does love the kids clubs on Carnival. Just curious about how it was if you have done it. Thank you so much!

Went with the grands awhile back...they didn't notice any difference, and it was their 3rd cruise...about yours age......I think they thought they moved to the ship permanently...it was US ol grumps who were ready to get off after 8-9 days...now their parents can take em….without us ….heheheheheh

From what I have heard on a Disney ship you will have no problems. Every young person I have talke to that has been on one loved it.

I encouraged my co-worker to take his two kids on the Disney cruise. A boy 8 and a girl 10. He achieved Jedi status and she got to play a Princess on stage. The kids are in their teens now, and still have the souvenirs and great memories.
