Celebrity Millennium

July 2012 - Celebrity Millennium to Alaska

h3 style=color: blue span style=font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serifThe cruise itself was very nice. My stateroom was excellent. The food was good but not quite up to the standards of the Solstice that I went to the Carribean on. Staff could not been more accomadating and friendly. We always had a blast at the Martini Bar. The bartenders were excellent and need a raise. The only port I did not go into was Skagway. Way to far from ship to walk if you have a knee problem. All of our port of calls were fun. We found great out of the way bars and brought home some neat momentos. I am actually looking at going back and buying a place to stay for the summer months. Would do again in a heartbeat!!!!/span/h3

p span style=color: #800080My son and I went on a Paula Deen cruise to Puerto Rico, St. Marteen and St. Kitts. We had a ball. Puerto Rico is beartiful. Don#39;t waste your time on going on the Bacardi Rum factory tour. You don#39;t get to see the real facility only a mock up of the old original plant. They don#39;t allow pictures and it is boring. Everyone that was there couldn#39;t wait to get out of there. The ship was awesome. The food was more than I could ever imagined. Breakfast and lunch everyday was an adventure in new countries cusine. Dinner goes without saying. We met and enjoyed a lot of new people and I can#39;t wait to see how my Alaska cruise compares. One of the things I really liked was the drink card that we bought ahead of time. It included all water, soft drinks and liquor. No wondering how much you had spent that day. Room was beautiful and our butler and service was impecable. /span
