November 2014 - Majesty of the Seas to Caribbean - Bahamas
Although parking at the terminal was a bit chaotic, the boarding process went smoothly, albeit long. The ship was very clean and although a relatively old ship, it was kept up to date. The service was wonderful-- excellent servers and housekeeping. The nightly entertainment was not spectacular but enjoyable. The food was only 'okay', but the choices were bountiful. Even the most pickiest of eaters could find something off of their menu. The kids program was poor. This cruise was geared towards the adults with children being a second thought. Yes, their was a rock wall and basketball court but the adults took priority. The pools were also geared towards the adult. No slides! No kids activities. On a ship that had a large amount of children, they should have had more activities.
When compared to Disney or Norwegian Cruise Line, this cruise line was not in their league. Disney caters to the children as would be expected, and the new Norwegian line caters to the adults and children. The food on Disney cannot be beat. Royal Caribbean was only fair at most.
