Empress of the Seas

October 2017 - Empress of the Seas to Cuba

Great Trip to Key West and Cuba

We are glad we went to Cuba. It was educational for us. Everything went smooth, no problems. The Tropicana Club was our hi light of the trip. Key West was also nice., Everything there is business as usual. It was a great cruise. Empress of the Seas is a nice, comfortable and lovely ship.

Serenade of the Seas

October 2016 - Serenade of the Seas to Canada, New England, New York

Great New England Cruise

My husband and I have never been on a 7 day cruise by ourselves, always with other people.  We loved just the two of us.  The ship was easy to get around.  The staff was excellent, very helpful and friendly.  The food was great along with the waiters and staff.  Our room was nice with a lot of clothes hangers.  All in all it was a wonderful trip and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to take a cruise to New England.

ckdanna's Tips

Empress of the Seas Empress of the Seas - It is a small ship, 1800 passengers, easy to get around. We loved it because it was small and had no problem finding places on the ship. The entertainment was excellent and so was the food. The dress code is all casual. Very comfortable.
HAVANA, CUBA - We took 3 excursions in Havana. A 4 hr. bus tour of old and new Havana. The buses are clean, a/c and have toilets. The tour guides were excellent. Spoke English that you could understand. We went to the Tropicana club. That was the hi-light of our trip. Beautiful show, 2 hrs. We also took the 4 hr. walking tour. They were all educational and professional. Havana is time stood still.
Tampa, Florida - We boarded the ship in Tampa. Did not have time to visit, before or after.
Key West, Florida - Key West is up and running after the hurricanes. You would not know there was any damage. It is business as usual. We took the hop on/hop off trolley. Enjoyed it a lot.
Serenade of the Seas Serenade of the Seas - The ship is easy to get around. To me, it is not a very large ship, quite quaint. Has many nice features like the solarium where many people go to read, rest, play cards and just relax. It has a great view of the ocean/land, many plants and a heated pool.
