Paradise was awesome for a small ship

The entertainment was great!  Lots of energy and diversity for the small ship atmosphere.  The staff was inviting and friendly.  We also enjoyed the layout of this ship. My dad is 93 and on a walker and this was one of the easier ships for him to get everywhere on.

Inaugural Cruise - Wonderful ship with lots of choices for the whole family!!!

The checkin process was very simple.  I was checked in within 2 minutes.  The greeter swiped my passport and stamped my boarding pass and I was ready to board. The ship was very well laid out with lots of choices for the whole family.  The electronic robot bartenders were fun to watch.  It is a great experience for something different!  The iFly was fantastic!  It was so fun to watch and the instructor was very entertaining!  The SportsPlex transition from basket ball to roller skating to bumper cars was exciting and dining from the 'Food Truck' with any type of hot dog, braut, or sausage was the perfect addition to this area.  The 270 venue transformation is phenomenal!  The night show in this venue was 2nd to none with Porsche robots maneuvering dancing screens in perfect synchronization!  The solarium area was very relaxing with some of the best all natural smoothies I have ever tasted!  They cut all of your fruits and vegetables while you wait. Our balcony stateroom was very tastefully decorated and the balcony had more room than most to stretch out and enjoy the views.  The dining rooms all had a wonderful decor of their own and the service and food was amazing.  There were fresh floral arrangements in every nook and cranny onboard the ship.  They were absolutely gorgeous.  The list goes on and on for this wonderful ship!  I will definitely be sailing on it again in the near future!

Carnival Breeze

Best ship for Carnival yet!

I loved the layout and entertainment onboard this ship. My father is in a wheelchair part of the time and we had an ocean view facing the forward portion of the ship so he could have wonderful views without having to travel through ought the ship much.  Our room steward was very accommodating and the food was better than on a typical Carnival cruise.  I would definately cruise this ship again.

Carnival Sunshine

May 2014 - Carnival Sunshine to Caribbean - Southern

Packed full!

This was one of the oldest average cruising aged cruises I have ever been on with Carnival.  Even the statistics onboard reflected the same.  It was a Southern Caribbean which explains some of why.  I personally loved the relaxed atmosphere and the Serenity area is gorgeous but small and you had to be there at 6 or 7 in the morning to get a cabana!  My 2 - 20 year old twins did wish there was more entertainment onboard geared towards their age but again I think it was because of the itinerary and average age onboard.  The liquid lounge was empty most of the time.  The layout to get to dining venues was not laid out well although this is an older ship and they had to do their best to arrange walkways around the existing galley.  Over all nice experience and service was great!

Carnival Fantasy

OK for a short getaway close to home

This sailing is ok for a short getaway close to home.  The ship, although it had recently been renovated, did not have a lot of options with regard to venues and entertainment. Unfortunately we had horrible weather with the exception of one day which was not the fault of the cruise line but I feel there was not a lot of entertainment offered to compensate for not being out doors.  This ship is very old and needs to be retired.  I would only choose it again if it were a quick getaway and a really good deal.  The staff was wonderful though which made up for some of what the ship itself lacked.

Awesome ship!

This was a fantastic ship!  It is large enough to have plenty to do but not so large that you are lost!  The promenade was great with a Dream works Parade on several occasions.  There were not any children traveling with us but we were perfectly entertained with the Dream Works productions and parades!  I was terrified to try the flow rider and my only regret is that I waited until the last day to try it.   The food was fantastic and we really enjoyed all of the sculptures made both from ice and food.  I highly recommend this ship for anyone!  The only thing I did not like was the length of time it takes to get from Falmouth to the areas in Jamaica that have fun excursions such as Dunn River Falls.  We spent a lot of our day getting safely to onshore entertainment.  The Falls were fun it just took a while to get there.  Everything else was wonderful!

First cruise on a major cruiseline and I am hooked!

This ship was laid out very well!  I love the promenade layout and everything is very easy to get to.  THe service was wonderful and we loved our ports of call!  We dined in specialty dining one of the nights onboard for a 50th birthday celebration.  The staff was very attentive and the food presentation was wonderful.
