April 2015 - Liberty of the Seas to Caribbean - Western
Our tradition is to take our grandchildren on a cruise with us when they are graduating from high school. This cruise we did take a graduating granddaughter and her younger sister before she is to graduate. The kids really enjoyed everything about their cruise, from the food to all the activities and shows that were available to them. They are now sold on cruising, and of course want to go on more cruises. We have 19 grandchildren and we have 4 more left to take on a future cruise. All the grandchildren that have gone on previous cruises want to volunteer to join us.
The only thing that was a little disappointing to us seasoned cruisers was that they seem to cut corners on some of the amenities that were available to us on previous cruises. I had told the girls not to bring shampoo because it was usually furnished. Our cabin only had the body wash, there was no chocolate on the pillows at night, which was minor. The midnight buffets were very small, compared to previous cruises. Over all we were very pleased and so were the girls. They did not know what to expect and were very excited at everything that was going on.
