May 2015 - 4 Night Bahamas (Charleston Roundtrip) Cruise on Carnival Fantasy
The food was very poor. The boat it self was OK, but there was rust on all the metal railings etc. The main dining room staff was poor. I had to ask for something to drink after waiting 10 minutes. The people who sat us didn't ask us if we wanted are own table, but rather just suck us with two other couples. Countless times there were dirty dishes on tables that hadn't been cleared. We were never told what life raft # we were to go to. Lee are cabin maid was very good. The staff on the ship never wanted to engage in to much conversation about where they were from. We were never told before paying that we would have to pay for a $100 gratuity at the end of the trip. Not happy with that one. Should have been included in the price. Such a system gives your crew very little incentive to go the extra mile. The process to get on the ship was very good, however the getting off part was torture. Customs was a joke and a complete waste of time. I know the cruise line has nothing to do with this, but your low prices draw undesirable passengers which made the trip horrific. I guess one get's what one pays for. Never again.
