My husband and I work hard in our professional daytime world, our children focus on school, activities and of course their social life. When we are on vacation we enjoy meeting down to earth families or couples to enjoy an adventure now and then. Our children our 9 year old son, 14 year old daughter that want to meet others on the cruise and make new friends. We are ready to get our party "hats" on!!!!!
From the moment we walked on the ship, I could see it was disorganized. We were not directed where to go, just sent in one direction on a deck. All other cruises, we would have entered inside the ship with a great 1st impression. The cheese/cracker and fruit platter was another disappointment and wine we pre-ordered for the room. The crackers were saltines, chunks of orange cheddar cheese, one strawberry for 3 woman. We were told the ship was newly reburished, the room and all other areas did NOT reflect this. The room attendant, when asked about the ship being reburished, he said "where did that happen? Certainly not in your room". We made the best of our time together but was really disappointed because 2 of us had boosted about Royal for our 1st time cruiser friend. Just to have average service, less than acceptable food and ship lower than average.
