December 2016 - Regal Princess to Caribbean - Eastern
The ship is beautiful! So many wonderful things to enjoy, see and do. The staterooms are comfortable, the stateroom stewards and dining staff are amazingly kind, and the amenities are special. The major problem we encountered was our particular stateroom. Through the bulkhead of the room came loud music, vibrations and noise from four decks below in the Princess Theater beginning EVERY day from 3pm to 11pm. Apparently stateroom C -204 (Caribe-204, alos known as 10204) is the only room onboard that has this noise issue. It ruined our trip. We could not even drowned out the noise with the highest volume on the TV. And the painful part was that there were rooms the senior management of customer service could've moved us to, but didn't until the 7th day of our 10-day cruise. This was confirmed to us by our new stateroom steward who offered to fill our ice bucket because the room had not been used since before the cruise began. Whaaaat?!! We repeatedly asked, requested, inquired about, appealed, petitioned, begged, pleaded, and cried for a room change. Over and over we were told that there was absolutely no stateroom available for us to be moved to. This is a shameful and inexcusable way to treat a customer. On day 8, we were offered an onboard credit of $300. With only 2 full days remaining, we politely declined. On day 9, we were offered a $450.00 onboard credit. Again, we declined. Insult on injury. No, thanks.
