We have cruised with Carnival before and were well pleased. This time however we found the service and the "FUN SHIP" atmosphere to be lacking. The dining staff in the dining room acted like we were a bother they had to be asked repeatedly for drinks and they seemed to get side tracked and forget we were there. The food was just average it lacked flavor even though it was presented nicely. Our room steward however was very attentive and was always pleasant. Most of the rest of the crew acted like we weren't there. One young lady on lido deck actually rolled her eyes at us when we asked for some silverware for our table which we had to bus ourself. The ports of call however made up for the lack on the ship. St. Thomas was beautiful we spend a wonderful day touring and shopping. San Juan surprised us we didin't expect the modern city the old part was very interesting especially the old forts. Half moon Cay is a wonderful beach we had a great day there. Over all we would think twice before we cruised Carnival again.
