A Great Eastern Caribean Cruise
We really enjoyed the recent Eastern Caribean cruise on Carninal Liberty.
This is the second time my wife and I cruised with Carnival. The Ocean View room was well worthed the extra cost. It is roomier and
better looking than the previous Inside state room. We came back to our room more often. The room service staff was as good as
ever - always made up our room nicely and put that cute creature made of towels on our bed to greet us every evening when we came
back to our room. I took a picture of every one of them. I thought it was rather clever.
Did I mention that the food was the best? Yes, that was the best part about cruising for us. Just try to combine it with some excercise
at the gym. They got all kind of equipments that I ever needed. Back to the food... Even the buffet was good. We had it the first day
and another day when we came back to the ship after an island excursion. But the food at the Silver Dining room was the best. We go
there every chance we got. It was excellent, whether we ordered steak or seafood. The waiting staff were pleasant and
accomodating. Once we came late almost at the end of our time slot, but they served us like normal without a fuss. Of course, we
finished our meal before the next group came. Oh, for people who like to drink wine, like us, the 5-bottle wine package is a must.
And the shows, singing, dancing, comedy... we liked them all. Even the Guest show was well done. We went to at least one show
every night.
We also liked to hang around the Promenade deck to check out the gift shops and listen to the music played in the lounge all day
long. Or at least it seemed. We even danced a little.
Keep upt he good work, Carnival; and we will definitely cruise with you again.
