Overall, I would rate our cruise a 2 out of 5 stars. A lot went into the consideration of rating. Getting on was good. It helps to pre-register on the NCL.com website and print it out. Most others stood there and hand wrote out their forms when you can have it ready to give the NCL rep at the desk. Once on the signs to find your cabin were easy to read. Just find the elevators. Our cabin was neat, a little out-dated, but compared to Carnival and older ships, it was nice. The cabin steward was very attentive. You will always see them around. Keep in mind they charge your account $10 per day per person for tips. This is added each day, not all at once. You can always get copies of your bill. The Pursers desk is always hectic!!!The entertainment is ok, nothing fancy. They do try. The food was good. You have a lot of choices. I HIGHLY recommend the pasta bar! This was the only nice thing I experienced on this ship. At the private island all we saw was the island from the ship, no one could get off due to high waves. The tender would not run. I did not like the fact that the last night the pool and hot tub was drained and shut down. Nothing to do the last night. I would recommend using the transfers! They are easy. Plus, you can charge them to your cabin and pay at the end.
