I titled the review "Abandon the ship" because that's what NCL has done. NCL has known for a long time this is the worst ship in their fleet and they have not done jack to remedy the problems. You go back and read the reviews going back a couple of years and you'll know what I mean. The problems only get worse. Staff sucks big time, the ship feels like it has been through wars, the food is the pits (relative to other ships), there is bad smell everywhere, there are problems with cleanliness, the buffet is way overcramped and undersupplied, the room furniture is either broken, chipped, torn, stained, dirty, missing or some other negative thing, the management seems to be overwhelmed by the problems and doesn't care anymore, the waiters are way too unhappy to be qualified to do this job. In short, what makes a cruise special is the way you're pampered and the way your senses are overloaded with pleasure. What makes this cruise horrible is the way you're made to feel unspecial, and the way your senses are overloaded with displeasure to the point you may not want to return to the ship during one of the stops.
