Carnival Victory
Sail date: January 01, 2008
My new husband and I chose the Victory for our honeymoon cruise and were thrilled with our choice. The staff was friendly and gave us excellent service; dinners were delicious; and all in all we could not have had a much better time. A few minor "complaints": breakfast buffet food was uninspired (stick with fruit, the omelet station, or go to the dining room) and lunch lido deck options were hit and miss; we had cold showers two afternoons while dressing for dinner; and it was impossible to tell when some things were going to be open. For instance, there is now a sushi bar offering rolls before and after dinner, but nowhere did we see any printed information about it and so I never had time or appetite to take advantage. But the Victory is a large and attractive ship and it's hard to ever feel bored. We also enjoyed all three ports, and thought it was a great balance of time on and off the ship.
