I think I have gotten bit by the cruise bug. I love it!!!! So looking forward to my next cruise to the DR.

Past cruises

Carnival Valor

November 2020 - 5 Night Western Caribbean (New Orleans Roundtrip) Cruise on Carnival Valor

Carnival Breeze

October 2019 - 7 Night Eastern Caribbean (Port Canaveral Roundtrip) Cruise on Carnival Breeze

Enjoyed seeing each island and shopping.

Ship was late on a few occassions which made our travel really unsteady. Constant noise from...someone said it was waves hitting the boat,,but REALLY loud and distrubing. Staff was very friendly. Sight seeing on each island was enjoyable and not as hot as I thought the weather would be.

Explorer of the Seas

August 2018 - 7 Night Alaska Glacier (Seattle Roundtrip) Cruise on Explorer of the Seas

Alaska in September

The trip to Alaska and Victoria, BC was educational and interesting. I missed seeing the snow because the temperature was in the 50°- 60° range. The shore tours were wonderful, and although advised not to use local tour guides, I found them to be much more reasonable in price. Would like to go back, but during the winter.

Carnival Magic

September 2017 - 6 Night Eastern Caribbean (Port Canaveral Roundtrip) Cruise on Carnival Magic

My first cruise and I totally enjoyed every day of it, even when we didn’t know where we were going. Our original itinerary was scrubbed due to the hurricane heading to the same islands we were (Dominican Republic). We headed to Mexico instead. Ended up visiting 2 of the 3 islands because we had to rush back to get ahead of the same hurricane. On our way back to FL, we were diverted to LA because there wasn’t enough time for us to debark if we went to FL. Those that wanted to get off could while those who stayed went back out to sea and waited until the weather settled so the ship could headed into FL. Would do it all over again 😊.

Not many shops on the ship so make sure you have everything you need, i.e. toothpaste, deodorant, lotion, etc.
