We booked a guaranteed balcony stateroom, the second time doing this and got an absolutely great room and its location. We booked the room only 3 1/2 weeks prior to departure and were quite pleased with the selection. This was our 2nd trip to Alaska and the best. The ship was beautifully appointed and very clean. Food was delicious and the shows were eye catching. I would certainly do Holland America again and to Alaska.
