Carnival Liberty

March 2018 - 3 Night Bahamas (Port Canaveral Roundtrip) Cruise on Carnival Liberty

Lot of Fun for a Short Run

My sister and I booked this trip as a surprise for our mom's 60th birthday. We had a great time! The variety of music, food and activities kept us entertained the entire trip. My mom enjoyed herself so much, she even took a picture with Donkey (the cruise director). This is my first short cruise, it was really fun, but I think I'm definitely a long cruise girl! The fun was over before I knew it.

Carnival Magic

July 2016 - 7 Night Eastern Caribbean (Port Canaveral Roundtrip) Cruise on Carnival Magic

Tons and Tons of Family Fun

We had a GREAT time on the Carnival Magic! There was so much stuff to do we couldn't even do it all! We stayed on deck 9 mid ship, which is perfect for families who have kids going to Camp Ocean. The midship elevators are the only elevators that let you out directly in front of Camp Ocean. Make sure your kids stay for at least one of their parties. Our kids loved it and received awesome goodie bags. We came to pick them up around 1am and they still weren't ready to go!

5 stars for the food and our head waiter Hengrik and room steward Ramell, they were top notch. The cruise director Dr. E has got to be the one of the hardest working men at sea! Carnival is truly the Fun ship, the neon 80's Rock and Glow Party was epic! I highly recommend the Cat in the Hat breakfast as well as the Chef's Table. I can do a review on the Chef's Table by itself, it was just that good!Love

Initially, my husband (1st time cruiser) was not wowed by the idea of cruising as a vacation, but he had so much fun, that he now wants to go on another one!

I took off 1 star because the Magic had a strong sewage smell toward the back of the ship on decks 7 & 8 it turned my stomach. Luckily our cabin was on deck 9, but I really feel for the cruisers who had to smell sewage for the length of their vacation.

Carnival Destiny (RETIRED) 20007

May 1996 - May 06, 1996 Cruise on Carnival Destiny (RETIRED)

PhotoEmpress's Tips

Carnival Liberty Carnival Liberty - Find Donkey, where ever he is, you're guaranteed to have a good time! Also there is a "sign & sail" kiosk on deck 5, you can avoid the long lines at the kiosk near the guest services desk.
Nassau, Bahamas - We had a lot of fun. By-pass the stands when you first get off the ship and go down to the straw market. Let me warn you, there are so many vendors you can get overwhelmed. Also the massages on cabbage beach where awesome. We had Michelle and Shaniqua, my mom said Michelle gave a good massage. Shaniqua was great and added just enough pressure. I will be visiting them again on my next trip to the Bahamas.
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas - Coki beach is the best for snorkeling with young children. Our 3 year could see fish, and she was only in the water waist deep!
Carnival Magic Carnival Magic - The midship elevators are the only elevators that let you out directly in front of Camp Ocean! Choose your state room wisely :)
San Juan, Puerto Rico - Favorite port! Too much to see and do, we'll have to make this a separate vacation.
