Great destination for summer. Great food, service, and entertainment. Peggy's Cove was awesome. This was girls trip with my mom and sister. This was their first and my second Carnival cruise 20 yrs ago). Would defiantly recommend.

Beware of the smoke in gambling area on Deck 6. There's other dining/entertainment on this level, so you may want to go up/down a level if you don't want to gag while going from one end to other. Yuk.
We enjoyed our cruise overall, but the service was terrible in the complimentary dining rooms so we spent most evenings at the Garden buffet (major bummer). We had to keep asking them for refills on ice tea and my husband never even got his coffee with dessert. They had a lot of restaurants with cover charge, so we felt maybe that's where all the good service was. The comedy and bands around ship were very good, but wasn't impressed with their main entertainment. Blue Man was odd and Legends were 3 people (their Elvis was great). You have to make reservations for just about everything except eating in the buffet and main dining rooms, so not really buying the "freestyle" cruise experience. We had a balcony room, very nice and clean. Lots of storage. We were really looking to get away from the cold, so didn't really mind where the ports were. Jaimaca: Not really much to see except beach and rum (not bad combo). Ocho Rios Duns River Falls is very cool (did this 3 yrs ago while at Sandals). Costa Maya: We did the Chiam... something Mayan ruin tour. Guide was knowledgeable and was only an hour to the site. They are just building up the area here. Cozumel: We rented an old chopped VW beetle at $40 for the day off a side street when we got into town. Looked rough but ran great. Drove around he island and stopped at the beaches/tiki huts along the way. Saw other VW, jeep, and speed buggy rentals along the way. That was the best fun, just being out on our own.
