It took me 30 years to convince my husband that we should take a cruise. It certainly was worth the wait. Even though I had read many reviews about how old the ship was, there were those same reviews that talked about its charm. And as the Captain said, it certainly has spirit. Embarkation did take awhile. We certainly started to meet a lot of people while waiting in line. I am anxious for our next cruise when we get the special treatment as a Latitudes member. We loved the food, had the best waiter and assistant. We had waiters singing to us one night for an anniversary surprise. By the end of the cruise, automatically my husband and I were provided with our regular beverages without being asked. Of course, we had wonderful tablemates, that just added to a great nightly meal. We used the Bistro one night and found that incredible. Service was impeccable. We did go to all the shows every night and they were very entertaining. We actually found ourselves very busy attending various functions. We finally spent one whole morning just watching the world go by at the pool on the top deck. How delightful that was. Leaving the ship was painless, and very well orgainized. Anyone who enjoys life will definitely enjoy a cruise on the Norway and we look forward to our next cruise in April, this time on the Sky.
