For my mother's 75h birthday gift, I went all out and booked a junior suite for this 5-day cruise to Bermuda. We went on the Grandeur in November 2009. A hurricane a hit a few days before our departure date and messed up the Port of Baltimore. As a result, instead of boarding our ship from 1:00-4:00 PM, we could not board until 11:00 PM. We set sail at 2:00 AM. AND worst of all, when we arrived in Bermuda, we were only allowed to spend 6 hours in Bermuda. That's it. After spending $1800 on a 5-day cruise which was suppose to dock in Bermuda for 2 full days! And our only compensation was a cruise certificate of 2 X $213 for a future cruise to be taken within one year. Who wants that?? So BE CAREFUL. Best not to go to Bermuda during hurricane season because RCI's compensation is pretty lousy.
