Carnival Miracle

Carnival Miracle

Sail date: November 01, 2009

A Relaxing Cruise

Overall, this cruise was worth its money. Being a Thanksgiving cruise, we expected more younger people and more children. There were only 300 children, which was great for us, since we didn't bring ours. You hardly ever saw the children. Camp Carnival must do a wonderful job in keeping them entertained. The average age of the people on board this cruise was around their early 60"s, which surprised us, since Carnival is called the FUN SHIP. They could have use more entertainment on the pool decks. The pool games only happened once a day for 15 minutes and the band played twice for about 45 minutes each time. The food in the buffet, dinning room and Nick & Nora's Supper Club (extra charge) was wonderful. The dinning staff entertained you several times during dessert. They had a magician who was wonderful in the dinning room. The entertainment in the theater was first rate. Had one deck party at Midnight--it was on a night we were getting into port the next morning. The two shore excusions we booked with Carnival was great. Overall, we had a great time, now we need a vacation from the vacation.
