March 2015 - Carnival Conquest to Caribbean - Eastern
Lovely and best ports we've seen to date. The food on the ship was definitely the worst yet in the main dining room and buffet. They need more quality dining options for sure. Ship is just dated and cheesy, as was the entertainment (shows, not comedians) onboard. It felt like they auditioned some employees and put the most talented ones on stage at night. Comedians were OK but shows were only 30 minutes each. I think we have outgrown Carnival unfortunately...our daughter loves Camp Carnival which is why this has always been a good choice for us, but this cruise we noticed so many deficiencies that we hadn't in the past sadly. The spring breakers took over the whole deck, the live caribbean singer let them have the microphone to karaoke and scream at each other - not at all relaxing or appropriate for the other guests and children that were also present on the deck while this was going on. Overall, I was disappointed while onboard but loved all of the ports - not to be missed!
