Grandeur of the Seas

December 2014 - Grandeur of the Seas to Caribbean - Eastern

4th trip with the Grandeur of the Seas

We left out of Baltimore, MD because it is an easy port to drive to, they take your luggage from your car, you park your car and enter the terminal with your paperwork, ID and passports and you board the ship. Once you are on the ship you are greeted by many smiling faces eager to attend to you. Food was good, but the service was impeccable! Every waiter and room stuart we came in contact with, whether they were assigned to us or not, was extremely helpful and courteous. I recommend a night at the Chefs table consisting of 5 course meal with wine with each course. It is the finest gourmet food on the ship and of course there is an up charge, but well worth it. You foodies will not be disappointed. Koudos to Royal Carribean on the up keep of the ship.

Emeraldcruiser's Tips

Grandeur of the Seas Grandeur of the Seas - Windjammer, fondly referred to as the "feeding trough" by my family, is very unorganized and at times can be a health hazard from dropped serving spoons and forks from children serving themselves. I like sitting down to eat in the dinning room for my meals.
