This was my 20th cruise. We were pleasantly surprised with the positive attitudes and helpfulness of the crew. Yes, there were some glitches, but they were handled. The ship appeared to be short staffed, which upset some, but, as we had read up on the proper procedures - we made dinner reservations in the main dining room for 7:00 every evening - we had dinner on time, with never a wait. My only concern (love to eat well) was the poor quality of the dinner fare. Every other meal was good. The decor on the ship was a combination of fantastic and terrible. The common areas were like being on an early Carnival ship. The staterooms were small but well appointed - the bathrooms actually had a separate toilet and a shower that doesn't leak all over the floor! The decor in the dining room was remincent of the old transatlantic ships of the 40's and was great. Wish they had carried thru with that theme. Shore excursions were expensive - about the same as when you tried to buy them off the ship - if you could find them. Overall, good cruise. Hawaii was FANTASTIC!
