Getting to and from the ship left something to be desired. The bus driver taking us to the ship was rude and almost demanded a tip. He told us we had too much luggage and when we arrived he told an elderly couple who were trying to get everything together before getting off to get off of his bus. In contrast, everyone on the ship could not have been more courteous. The food was excellent and so was the service.When our traveling companions had to leave the ship due to illness, our waiter and head waiter did everything they could to help us adjust and have a good time.There so much to do on the ship that the only way you would be able to do it all was to not take any excursions.The cabin was roomy, always clean, and our cabin attendant seem to enjoy his job.Getting off the ship was a nightmare. I had to wait a half hour for some of my luggage and they kept transferring to different lines to get on the bus for the airport. After the third time of being moved to a different line, I finally said I was not changing lines again and that I was getting on that particular bus.I have arthritis and suffer a lot of discomfort in my left hip. I try not to ask for any special considerations but the experience of getting to and from the ship has made it very clear that I will need to make it known.I would recommend this ship and cruise line at anytime, with the recommendation that you be assertive with demand service getting to and from the ship.
