June 2016 - Carnival Pride to Caribbean - Eastern
The Baltimore port was organized upon arrival with a very easy embarkation process. As for the cruise itself, the staff was pleasant and helpful. The food was okay in the Lido restaurant, but not great. I highly suggest dining at the Steakhouse, it was excellent. Guy's Burgers were great too!
The ship was kept clean but does show a bit of wear/age. It was not a large ship but there were plenty of areas to get away and it never really seemed crowded until disembarkation, which was poorly handled. It took nearly 2 hours to get off the ship after docking which is unacceptable.
The ports of call were nice but time on the islands was too short. I have been on several cruises and know they can stay a bit longer at a port and make up some time to the next one thru the night. All the ports were very close together and a ship going 15-19 knots at night is slow, too slow. Leaving from the last port at 1:30 was ridiculous.
Overall we had a great time and I do recommend it to others.
