Norwegian Sun

April 2016 - Norwegian Sun to South America

Not for the Faint of Heart.

This cruise was Great, " The unexplored So. American ports of call."  The Cruise itself a pleasure. Annoying to see Wealthy Ship passengers not paying a fair price for a product in the Poor Port Stands, then indulging in massive amounts of Wine & mixed beverages in the Ship. Treating the Indigenous Port Peoples, inhumanely.  The Food served on the first days is the best, after that food quality, not so good. Want Great Dinners? We recommend for future guests is to purchase many "Specialty Dining packages"!  Great "ProductionShows", aimed @ the 50+ age group.  Other "Booked Shows", also aimed for the 50+ age groups.

Cruiser241's Tips

Puerto Chiapas (Tapachula), Mexico - Wear a Big Hat for shade. Packed 10 pounds of Holloween & day after Christmas candy, handed it out by the handfuls to the Locals until i sadly ran out of candy.
Huatulco, Mexico - Stayed in the Port & bought things from the stands & looked at the many green parrots high in the trees.
Puntarenas, Costa Rica - Take a bus ride to and from the market entrance it is free, & will save you from HeatStroke !
Salaverry (Trujillo), Peru - Ride in the 3 wheeled motorcycle coaches for $5.00 . Some rich Lady got the same ride we did, but paid $1.00 fare. Remember, we are Living on the same Planet, You are no better than the Indigenous Peoples of PERU !
Arica, Chile - I got a CHILE tattoo from a local Artist on my arm.
