Helpful VotesJust a country boy that Loves cruising with my family. Visiting different parts of the Caribbean and Bahamas. My favorite cruise line is carnival. Mainly because it’s the only one I’ve sailed. And by far my favorite cruise port is st Thomas. I’d have to say my favorite ship was the Carnival Freedom so far

February 2019 - 5 Night Bahamas (Jacksonville Roundtrip) Cruise on Carnival Elation
First time on a smaller ship. Lot of activities to do and the food was good. Cabin layout was awkward and people sleeping in the bed hit there heads a lot on the pulldown bunk. Other than that great experience. Ship is very dated

Went on this cruise to surprise my wife. Proposed to her on the beach at saint marteen. She said yes of course. Good shopping and we did a hiking excursion. Very good time

Pick a different room than the one we did
Did a Tyrone Wilson tour of Nassau. Half the price of carnivals excursion and just as much fun. Visited Atlantis, rum cake factory, distillery and a few other locations. I’ll never book an excursion with carnival again. Way overpriced. And we did the early morning tour so we still had 4 hours to explore Nassau after the tour
Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)
Beautiful beach and water. A little crowded though. But other than that we had a great time on HMC and will visit again someday. Loved the pirate ship
