July 2015 - Ruby Princess to Alaska - Inside Passage
Second cruise with Princess and still had issues getting service when sitting at a table. Many times we had to flag down waiters to get them to bring us a drink 15 - 20 minutes later. 1 time out of about 20 visits to the various bars were we actually greeted and asked if we needed anything. A few times we had to waive our hands and vocalize to get their attention. The ports were great and the scenery as well as expected. However the Victoria, BC port really isn't worth getting off the ship, by the time you get off the ship and travel to an excursion, it's time to head back. Dining service was excellent as well as the room service and room staff. Cruise director was fully engaged and fabulous. It seemed as if the cruise director's staff was everywhere. Pretty good cruise just wish you could get waited on in the various bars, seems as if this would be of high interest for Princess to sell more drinks, but apparently not. Also the cookies were continuously overcooked and often burnt, not sure what is going on with that.
