Crown Princess

July 2017 - 7 Night Norwegian Fjords (London Roundtrip) Cruise on Crown Princess

I have went for the 7 nights Norway cruise and sailed on 22-July. My mini suite was in good condition and only one of the bathroom light went off. But the Steward noticed it before we informed him and get the technician to fix it. Some of The staff at the all day dining on deck 16 were not professional. They tend to chat among themselves and ignore the passengers waiving at them for service. As for the dining at the Italian restaurant, the Head was good but not the waiters. I prefer the other restaurant at Michaelangelino. Staff were cheerful and friendly. We have also tried the room service. Sadly the menu do not change and it was tough for me as I do not take dairy and beef. They delivered the breakfast punctually though. For the formal nights, I am surprised by the non activity. The previous cruise formal nights are dining with performances. For Crown it was just by wearing formal and book your own dining restaurant. I was not informed that I need to make reservations for the first night and learned the lesson for the second. The first formal night was just pouring of champagne and speeches from the Captain. That's it! And for the second formal night, it was just dropping of balloons. How boring can that be? I have to say the entertainment needs a lot of improvements. I find it quite bored at night while cruising. The excursions we have booked with Crown are excellent. Except for Bergen as it rains every 30 mins, we cannot enjoyed the Coach ride let alone taking pictures.
