This is a relatively new ship. It was staffed by friendly and helpful personnel. The atmosphere is casual yet we did see the restaurant dress codes enforced (no shorts, blue jeans, or t-shirts). We enjoyed the itinerary and excursion choices. The excursion options were explained at the beginning of the cruise, but some restrictions were omitted. The crew was very good about refunding our money and suggesting alternatives that would accommodate our needs. The food was very good but not outstanding in the regular restaurants (we did overhear one staff member tell a passenger that the "better food" was in the restaurants with cover charges). Don't miss the Volcano National Park & Rainbow Falls tour, the Road to Hana tour (unless you suffer from severe motion sickness), and the Lu'au Kalamaku!
