We just came back from a seven day cruise to the Bahamas on the NCL Jewel. This was our 3rd cruise on NCL and what a great ship and crew. Embarkation was a little hectic with NCL ships leaving on the same day. We made it through check-in in about an hour. Welcoming crew when we got on board around 12:30. Our rooms were ready so we went to check that out. We had stateroom 10132 starboard side balcony. We loved the room, very clean. The steward was excellent. Very attentive and kept the room clean. We enjoyed the shows, Band on the Run and Le Cirque Bijou were excellent. We ate at both main dinning rooms for dinner once. We enjoyed Tsars much better. We also had dinner at Mama's Italian Resturant once which we enjoyed. The Garden Cafe had a wide selection of food. It did get crowded at peak meal times. We enjoyed the ports and it was great having the crew meet you when returning to the ship with music, dancing and cool scented washcloths. What a great touch by NCL to welcome passengers back to the ship after a hot day sightseeing. We will definately cruise with NCL again. We already put a deposit down for a future cruise.
