NCL-Pearl Alaskan Cruise

Ship was nice, claen and for the most part the staff were henomenal. 2 areas of serious concern. Buffets specifically garden Cafe on 12th floor. Servers very rude, if you ask for an extra slice of anything they acted like you were taking food off their childrens plate. They time schedules were not stuck to and changed with no notice at all, the food was so full of grease you could ring it out. Also the shore excursion desk! re-wrote descriptions of tours and totally were incorrect about "Seattle City Tour" we were told we would go to Pikes Market a Seattle tourist attraction, and even spoke one on one with shore excursion personnel. Paid for the tour, imagine to our surpirse when the 3.5 hour trip was over we had to catch a plane and we didn't even go by it. we went to a few "rich neighborhoods" throught he University parking lots, and across a bridge, no market!!! the tour conductor told us that happens all the time and its becuase the ship wirtes the srong description in thier brocheure!! HORRIBLE!!! But everything else onthe ship was wonderful. I would take it again, but just avoid those 2 areas.

Juneau, Alaska

Recommend the TAKU Sea Plane tour and Salmon bake, worth every penny and a great tour

Skagway, Alaska

Train ride great. be careful with dog sledding. only one of the tours is on snow , the other is a wagon with wheels and they pull you up a small rock hill for 15 minutes. We had no idea and picked that one, very dissapointing. You think of dog sledding and you think of dogs a sled and SNOW or at least ice.

Victoria, British Columbia

Sorry we waited till last stop to do whale watching, as we did and because of high winds it was cancelled. so saw no whales this trip

Ketchikan, Alaska

I highly recommed the Salmon fishing. A city boy here, really never fished. It was great. we caught over 50 lbs of pink and silver Salmon. 1/2 being smoked and the other 1/2 made into steaks and bign shipped to us. WOW!!
