I am a retired truck driver. I lived most of my life in Southern California. I moved to Wyoming in July of 2019. Just finished my second Carnival cruise and have two more booked. Both in November, 2020 and 2021.

My First Cruise

I would highly recommend this cruise to any "first time" cruisers who want to get their feet wet and see if cruising is for them. 4 days will let you know. As for me, it made me a hooked cruiser planning more cruises for the future. Once you've done a 4 day cruise, 7 days is even better. You'll be surprised at just how fast time flies by when you're having such a wonderful time.

There is only one electrical outlet per cabin, so you should bring a small multi port outlet to manage your device charging needs.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

We went to Las Caletas to see Rhythms of the Night. We can't recommend this excursion highly enough. It was simply amazing. Great entertainment both coming and going there, an excellent candlelit buffet dinner on the beach followed by the best show you could hope for. If you're doing this cruise, don't miss out on this excursion. Worth every penny and more.

Mazatlan, Mexico

We went to the Salsa & Salsa excursion. Had a great time and would recommend this excursion to anyone. Well worth the money.

There is only 1 power outlet in your cabin, so you should bring a small 3/4 port plug outlet adapter. Also, for anyone in an inside cabin, you need to understand that with no windows when the lights are turned off it is truly dark in there. Which is great for sleeping but if someone needs to get up in the middle of the night for the bathroom you need to bring along a small LED night light so you don't break a toe or worse in the dark.
