Norwegian Dream
Sail date: December 23, 2006
This was a nice cruise and ship, Norweigian Dream. Ship is older so don't expect elegance. Food and service is excellent, ate in the main dining rooms for dinner, the Four Seasons has excellent views. Surcharge restaurant the Bistro was good, but not better than regualr dining rooms. Entertainment was good, enjoyed the piano bar very much. Cabin service was excellent, room service very slow, 30 to 45 minutes for coffee. Port stops were nice. If stopping in Belieze do the snorkel excursion at the barrier reef, don't bother going into Belize city, its a dump and may not be safe. The port area for tourists is ok but this is not the actual city. My only real complaint is the hot tubs, only 2 on the ship and usually full of kids. The free ice cream bar is located next to the tubs, VERY bad location, hence kids sit ALL day in the hot tubs eating ice cream cones. Yes and cone wrappers are floating around in the tubs. All in all good cruise for the money, we had a good time.
