November 2013 - Allure of the Seas to Caribbean - Western
Our Anniversary Cruise was exhilerating. There was always something to do on board The Allure of the Seas. So many shows to see, and the Cruise Director Allan Brooks was absolutely amazing!!!! He brought so much life to each event. We found ourselves trying to figure out where he would be so that we could have a good laugh...again! The crew on board the ship was very friendly.. Our stateroom attendant, Wendy, was so sweet and personal. She new my husband and I by name the first day and always took time to stop and talk to us and see how our trip was going. The food was fantastic. The ship is spotless and the aqua show was the best!!!! The ports of call (western carribean) were beautiful..We were a little dissappointed with the Jeep excursion in Cozumel because they had renegotiated contracts with the excursion companies and our jeep excursion was reduced to a trip around the island, mayan ruins, and a the tequila hacienda. I had already paid for it so we went ahead and went. Met some nice people but we were looking forward to the snorkeling and the beach barbeque that didn't happen! Zip line in Haiti made up for it though! So awesome! Overall a great experience and would recommend this cruise ship to anyone. Lots to do for kids and adults. Dont worry about 7 days on a ship...you will not be bored!
