Bermuda Cruise Reviews

This was our 6th cruise with NCL. We prefer NCL free style cruising and want to experience all their ships. And now that we are Platinum Latitudes members we get extra perks, like extra specialty dining dinners, priority embarkation, and we always do free-at-sea so we get the drink package, flights (buy one get one), some excursion $$$, some free internet minutes (just perfect for us), and other things. So looking forward to all these perks on our next cruise on the NCL Bliss to Alaska in September.

PLAN way in advance, Make your Specially (paid) dining reservations at least 3 weeks in advance and the same for the production shows. Study all the decks in advance so you know what is where. Do your homework! I even asked on the NCL website what day tthe one production was on... so you can plan accordingly. Also enjoy the OBSERVATION LOUNGE... but on port days it is suppose to be for some hours A QUITE ZONE (NCL needs to have large signed at the entrance and then again in the room. The hogging of deck chairs is still a MESS. and those that do, can be very obnoxious even when a chair is empty for an hour or more. AND IF YOU LIKE THE PRODUCTIONS SHOWS OF THE PAST, PLEASE LET NCL KNOW, THE NEW CHEAP USE OF GAME SHOWS is exactly that = = CHEAP. Plan in advance and ENJOY

As mentioned in the title of my review ( BJ's travel fumbled the ball )...Was expecting to see a bottle of wine, chocolate covered strawberries and water...None of these were in the cabin and Cruise Services were not willing to accommodate , for nothing was listed in my profile...

The itinerary was nice, but I prefer Carnival. Celebrity was uptight.

We'd do it again. The service on board was excellent. This includes cabin stewards, waitstaff in main dining and buffet. They need more staff for drinks in theater, wait was a bit long. Food on board was some of the best we've had while cruising both in main dining and buffet. A great change. Must be the head chef and staff. Thank you all

Were charged extra $140 for internet, never got credit back after talking to general manager

I was really impressed with NCL's food and its culinary staff. They were really dedicated to serving good food. Lots of healthy options. Salad bar was wonderful. I only gained 1 pound despite eating more than usual!

the cruise was a lot of fun, that's due to the group of people that we traveled with, if it was just the 2 of us I wouldn't be able to say anything nice

I had a very beautiful cruise experience which I will remember forever. I am sure I will take NCL again in the future.

We have cruised mainly on Royal Caribbean (RC) in the past and have also been on Celebrity, Carnival and Princess. NCL was fine when compared to RC and the Joy seemed to have many more bars and complimentary dining options.

Multiple service failures that really dimmed my first Platinum cruise and first time in a ( non-haven) suite. Tried to resolve onboard and after but they just don't care. I'd save your money and skip eating at Q. Bar and entertainment are good but food and service were terrible

Please avoid this if you are handicapped. Avoid this Nickel and Dime cruise line, those on disability don't travel this ship. Consult ADA prior to sailing, if you don't they will lie to you, I know by experience 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬😔😔😔

This is a really good ship with wonderful staff and amenities. the food is very good though some of the food did not match the description, largely because the chef was trying to fancy up too much. Wait staff is top notch. There were very few children on board and those we did see were extremely well mannered.

Fully enjoyed the vineyard and Bermuda. The ship was beautiful but old. It attracts a much older crowd

I had a really nice time and no major complaints. Calm atmosphere with many areas to relax and engage in activities.

It was a good cruise and nice to have people our age mostly.

Enjoyed our time on the Gem. Bar Harbor was not as expected and difficult for my husband with a walker. Food, entertain and overall service was very good.

We had a very nice time.Ship is older but in good condition. Plenty of quite areas and easy to get around. Only negative were casino way to tight could not get thru it and of course the smoke. Just relax and enjoy that your on vacation.
