MSC Cruises Adds Second Ship in Port Canaveral for Winter 2025

MSC Cruises has announced that it will expand its presence at Port Canaveral by adding a second ship to the Florida port beginning in Winter 2025. MSC Grandiosa will begin offering 7-night and short Bahamas cruises starting in December 2025. The ship will join MSC Seashore at Port Canaveral, offering guests an even wider selection of Caribbean cruises.

 

“The Winter 2025-2026 season will mark our largest presence in the U.S. to date, and our expansion at Port Canaveral is a big part of that. We know people sailing from Central Florida want options, and we’re delighted to offer them two of our most modern and glamorous ships with itineraries that will appeal to everyone from first-time to seasoned cruisers,” Rubén A. MSC Grandiosa will sail 7-night Caribbean itineraries. Eastern Caribbean calls include Nassau, Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, Puerto Plata, San Juan, and Charlotte Amalie. Western Caribbean voyages to call on Nassau, Cozumel, Costa Maya, George Town, Montego Bay, Falmouth, and Belize City. 

MSC Seashore will offer 3- and 4-night itineraries that will visit Nassau and Ocean Cay. Some itineraries will offer an extra day at sea.

MSC Grandiosa is among one of MSC Cruises’ Meraviglia-plus class ships. It will become the line’s largest ship to homeport at Port Canaveral upon its arrival next year. The vessel features 2,421 staterooms, 10 restaurants, Five pools and nine hot tubs, the Wild Forest Aquapark, an enhanced MSC Yacht Club, expansive MSC Aurea Spa, and the 323-foot-long Galleria Grandiosa promenade.
