Carnival Magic - Avoid the buffet lines - call as far aft as you can for breakfast and lunch. For regular buffet, the same options are offered in the rear, with much shorter lines.
Also - go try Pasta Bar on the first day - no one finds it until later in the week.
Emerald Princess - Don't miss British Pub Lunch on sea days - they have at least two separate menus.
Disney Wonder - Avoid waiting in lines to meet characters throughout the voyage. the last night of your trip all of them come out to greet in the lobby - way easier to walk up and get pictures with your favorites.
Carnival Freedom - Get to the grill area early if you want the stir fry for lunch. Lines get long the closer to noon you get. It is a nice fresh way to get a meal you really enjoy - after all - it's your selections!
Disney Magic - Book a Palo dinner and Brunch if you can get away. The food is amazing and the service impeccable.
