Celebrity Equinox is a beautiful ship. My fiancée and I had a blast. we booked one year in advance with two free perks. the value and quality was great. We only ate once in the dinning room as the buffet had everything we liked. the entertainment was  very good. the crew was very helpful in all aspects of service. We really enjoyed our room with the concierge service.. nice lil perks came with the room we will book again on celebrity when we cruise again.Big Smile

Cruise experience

Hi,

While overall the experience was good here are some areas for improvement

- you need to offer a "single " price structure; unfair to charge for two persons all fees, including Port fees for one person

- I was entitled to 2 bottles of wine per stateroom and one was confiscated! While it was returned at the end of the trip it was unfair!

- I would recommend another Port than Puerto Limón; not a  dry interesting and nice city to visit

- more daily food variety at the main buffet would have been nice

THe only complaint we had about the trip was the ports we docked at were not easily accessible to shopping.  We were in a more industrial area.   Also the couple of excurions we booked did not have much to offer for souvenir shopping either.    Other than that room, food, shows were EXCELLENT!!!!!Big Smile

Never received any onboard credit and will not cruise again.  Easier to fly to a destination and experience it for more than 6 hours.  Crowded venues and "premium" restaurants not worth it.  Concierge cabins are a joke.

Best of several

3-4 times on this ship / the food was better and the entertainment 1st class.

The on line accounting was terrible (improper entries)  although the amounts were correct. There is no need to create anxiety when there should be none! Disappointed ships daily movie was frequently only available late (1030) ..since we cruise a lot don't usually get off and want more options on board.

Well appointed ship, good service and variety of dinner selections.  Entertainment for the most part, especially guest entertainers was excellent.  Cruise director outgoing and interesting.  Ports of Call could use some changes.  Havana rather then Grand Cayman.  Weather outstanding.  Some administrative difficulties to include failure to assign table requested prior to boarding; credit from cruise line was not applied; incorrect status resulting in incorrect billing and missing perks(Select rather than Elite assigned).  Captain Club's hostess, Maila,  was impersonal, indifferent and rude.

My favorite part of the cruise was the itinerary.

the thing that sometimes needed improvement were a couple of the guides.  They knew the info they had to give but didn't always keep track of the people in the group who might have been slightly slower than the rest.

It's huge, easy to get lost the first day or two, but the staff are very helpful. The best coffee is made by Alexander on deck 5. Best drinks are at the Mast Bar on deck 14 Nehemia Best shopping is on the last day, great sales. there is always something to do on this ship

The adult pool was the best! No kids.

Splurge on Morano's but get only 1 lobster entree if also sharing the Chateaubriand. Also, try the goat cheese soufflé and save room for dessert.
