Ship update needed

The customer service was over the top. GREAT JOB!

The pool deck entertainment was poor until last day of Cruise.  Throughout the day when we returned to the ship the deck was not festive it was rather boring. Ther was no music playing on deck for those wanting to relax it was as if they did not want guest on the deck. Very  poor. When i asked the entertainment director about it, he said it was because guest in their rooms would complain.

The rooms need to have more power outlets, only 2 outlets in room one in bathroom and one in room area. Today people have at least 3 electronic devices per person. But The service was OVER THE TOP!

Mixed Feelings

If you are okay with staying at a three star hotel and you want a lot of fun activities, this ship is for you. I was not impressed with food quality but I was impressed with the activities director and the fun things on board ship. The food wasn't bad, just not as good as I have had on other cruise lines. Nassau was awful, but the private beach was outstanding!

Ok for a first Cruise

The beaches were beautiful at each island, the price was decent, they had fun activities on the boat. The only negative part was that on the last day I ate one of their hamburgers that left me with food poisoning on the way home. My next cruise probably wont be with Carnival, I was probably expecting a little more. There were several in my group that actually had really bad experience.

Family fun

The kids had fun on the cruise and I enjoyed myself.  The staff was always cleaning and there were a lot of food options.  The Internet was not that great.  I would go on this cruise again.

Wink

The cruise was fun..I wish we stayed in the countries long enough. We spent 6.5 hrs in Jamaica (not long enough) and about the same in the Cayman Islands. We had a great stateroom steward named Bertel. The food was plentiful and good, I ate way too much will do again.. but I will get a room with a window next time.

The cruise was great! ....PL not so much!

The cruise was great!   PL....not so much!  We were lead to believe that all of our fees were taken care of only to find out on the ship that our gratuities were not included!  The problem I have with it, is that I was price comparing on other websites with gratuity included and they were always so close to  PL.  But I wasn't comparing WITHOUT gratuity, so I could have gotten a better deal somewhere else or gotten an onboard credit for the difference from PL!  I am NOT AT ALL HAPPY!  I will always book directly with Carnival!

Our First Cruise

Great starter cruise at a great price but watch out for on-board expenses! Some you can control and some are controlled by Carnival. ( They can get a little greedy) We were very conservative and our bill came to half of what we paid for the initial cruise.

Never made it to Jamaica

This was our first cruise and we were really looking forward to making it to Jamaica. Something happened on the ship and we had to turn around which we both understood but then we were going to Jamaica then not going to Jamaica and ended up in the Cayman Islands. There was a lot of confusion as to what was going on later on that evening her that people have received money back other people would get a discount on other tickets. Then I read in the news once we get to Miami that we were supposed to receive a 20% off which I have still yet to see. The atmosphere was fantastic on the ship the food was great but the lack of communication was really bad.

Non-sensational

There were more things that were wrong than right or a mere okay. Alchemy area and the fitness center were the cleanest areas throughout the entire vessel. Majority of the crew were quite pleasant, others should find another career path, where their detached demeanor is solicited. The ship needs a complete overall or should just be docked forever. The voyage was rather unpleasant and unexciting at best. The overwhelming consensus onboard was extreme dissatisfaction.  The stench of vomit, death, sewer, and porta-potty trails were suffocating. The bathing water and drinking water has to be unsafe, certainly for human consumption. The drinking water was clearly than the shower water however the taste was toxic. The bathing water started out rust brown. The linen was overused, stained and should be burned. The sauna was inoperable, the flusher in the stateroom stopped working, the closet door where the life vests are stored as well as our luggage, got jammed and would not open. The food was hit or miss. The exterior was gross and significantly corroded. The liner missed a port forcing the ship to navigate the water aimlessly for additional days. The acknowledgement and reimbursement was a disingenuous sorry but suck it up folks, it happens.

Bring a Power Strip (surge protector) - You'll probably only have a single 110v outlet in your cabin, bringing a power strip will allow you to charge multiple phones or laptops. *Note: Check with your cruise line if you have questions about what electrical devices are permitted.
