Ship was way outdated and not clean. Food was iffy. Pools were tiny and overcrowded to the point that my kids couldn't even swim. Stateroom AC didn't work. Overall, a very loud, party boat. Interior of ship was very dark and signage was poor. Tons of very small children.
I really have no comment we had bad weather so couldn't enjoy outside decks for 2 days wish we purchased excurstions mexico was a toatal disappointment cruise lost luggage tags a few items were broken in my suitcase the kids on the ship to most of the time for the pool never had a chance to use it
My family and I had a wonderful time on the cruise. My triplets loved the pools and the kid's camp and I enjoyed a relaxing time on the deck and in the hot tub. I loved Cozumel, the food and shopping, my excursion was also great. The beach was beautiful and my family loved it. I can't wait to book my next cruise for next year!
The best part of our cruise was our Dolphin Swim excursion in Cozumel and our steward of our Suite U74, William. William was absolutely outstanding. We never had to ask for anything, as he took care of everything. The kids loved the endless food and ice cream. The water slides and kids area was fantastic and our kids loved hanging out there as did we adults. Our ports were Key West, which was great. We toured the Duvall street on foot. Would have liked to have more time to explore, but that was okay. Then Cozumel. What can I say, we made wonderful memories there. We rented Jeeps, toured the Mayan ruins, drove to the "other side" of the island, swam with the dolphins and had a truly amazing authentic Mexican meal on the beach. Our tour guide, Poncho, was outstanding. We had no lines when boarding, because we had the Faster to Fun pass. It was money well spent for sure. Everyone had a fantastic time and all said they would cruise again. Great time all the way through.
Everything was good. We had a good family time, didn't really enjoy Half Moon Cay. Its to small and not much to see. Everything else was great. This was my second time with carnival and our family really enjoys the food, entertainment and hospitality, thanks for your hard work.
I had fun because of my relatives. I didn't like my room it was a handicap room. I tried to get them to change the room and they didn't even take me seriously as much as to get back in touch with me. I think it was my ethnicity. They totally ignored me. I told them about how crime scene looking the bathroom door looked and the guy came to actually repair it as we were disembarking. I took photos so I have them. The bathroom was horrible. They had a bunch/row of towels to prevent it from coming to the toilet. It was awful. I explained to them that it was my fiancé's first cruise and that didn't even matter. And we spend almost $4000. onboard and was treated as mere peasants. I was very disappointing. I have all the photos to support my story
I would definitely recommend Carnival to ppl with children as well as those that love to have activities planned ahead of time for them selves. I thoroughly enjoyed the comedy shows, game shows, karaoke, trivia games, the spa... everything was great.
Overall we had a great time. The only problem is that the ship did not offer much entertainment for Spanish speaking clients. There was no band playing in the deck like in some other cruises i have been on.
This is my 3rd cruise, but 1st Carnival cruise and I prefer Royal Caribbean. The food taste, availability, and variety was poor. There were not many activities in the day time other than Bingo, only 1 pool bar was open and it took quite a while to get our drinks. The workers were not as pleasant as Royal Caribbean. On the other hand, our room steward was great and knew everyone on a first name basis.
Bring a Power Strip (surge protector) - You'll probably only have a single 110v outlet in your cabin, bringing a power strip will allow you to charge multiple phones or laptops. *Note: Check with your cruise line if you have questions about what electrical devices are permitted.
