Don't buy the bargain sale watches with metal bands from the gift shop as there are no instructions on how to adjust the band (which are set for people with very large wrists). I was told to bring the watch to a jewelry shop when I get home to have the band adjusted.

Have a breakfast at the Blue Iguana. Eat the Dessert (all of them), especially the apple streusel. Bring your own insulated mug to keep your coffee hot or your beverage cold. Burgers and pizza are great. Get up early to see a sunrise on the ocean and sailing into Baltimore Harbor arriving home ....and be on the deck for a sunset. Bring a good camera and tripod and take your own pics to save HUNDREDS instead of feeling pressured to buy the quality ship photos.

in bahamas, carry small bills, i.e. 1's n 5's. also nothing is made by or sold for the "school children" this is their line to try to guilt you into paying for the "free" stupid little bracelets, but if you want genuine hand made shark tooth necklace for 5 bucks find "RONA" on the beach in FREEPORT.

Bring an extension cord for your stateroom, just in case. My spouse needed it for a cpap machine while sleeping, and there were no outlets near the bed.

Water shoes are ideal if you plan to spend a lot of time on the Lido deck by the pools. The floor stays wet due to people getting in and out of the pools and hot tubs and it is easy to fall if you're not careful.

Do not run and buy unlimited drinks unless you absolutely want to. It's best to wait and get all the details first. Don't waste your money if you don't drink much.

Be certain to go to the Pizza Pirate for a personally crafted pizza. Open 24 hours. I had a pizza each day of the cruise. Take advantage of the fun-flled shows and activities. We hope that the Carnival Pride will remain at the Port of Baltimore for future cruises.
